From the point of view of the first three bosses in Karazhan, yesterday... "was a good day to die".

Having already proven itself on Attumen and Moroes we HAD to push past Maiden to know that the previous week wasn't a fluke. Prove it we did.

Even with 3 'new' people to our Kara group we had immense success and were able to find some new talent in our Guild. A new Healer, a darn good DPS (Shamans really do 'bring the noise') and a Healer potentially hiding inside a Boomkin.

(Nightwish had the best heals of the successful Maiden fight and she's not even specced Resto.... sainte vache)

I will try and rotate in some people who signed up the previous week and couldn't make it. I will also attempt to make sure that that people don't miss 2 weeks in a row and for everyone to get a taste until we get a 2nd team up.

Wow, what a night.

I can't stress how successful that was for a guild going in there for the first time. Allow me to share a hearty congrats to all involved, even those who could only join us for a quick visit.

After a few hours in Kara and a couple of unexpected delays we were able to 1 shot Attumen, 2 shot Moroes (impressive considering we lacked tanks) and took the Maiden down to 15% on our second try but just ran out of time. The Fact is we could have taken her on our third but we had some pops in the hallway leading up to her so we decided to just resume on Day 2.

Some notable events:
- Norstarken (Who says he's having a hard time figuring out his spell rotation) hit the highest DPS at 817 for the Moroes fight.
- Lisa and Storm (the wife and hubby duo) rocked the overall meters soundly resting in 1st and 2nd but Zak made sure they couldn't make a single mistake as he brought up 3rd place. (Impressive considering he has to move a lot in the Maiden fight).
- Barlannagh showed he can tank the @#$% out of a raid and it was never an issue for people to worry about their agro. (but thankfullly on all bosses he had a Pally 'just in case'. hehe. (Woot Kahl and Serbos)
- Tj, Shan and Doren did not once slip in their duties at keeping people up as we had NO casualties on any of the downed bosses. (Rockte wasn't REALLY dead on Attumen he was just feigning hehe).

Okay I'm biased, I saved my fav class for last... The Hunters... Truly a culinary masterpiece of ice Traps and High DPS being the 'menu du jour' that was promptly (still piping hot) delivered to the mobs with smiles on their faces and courteous service.

All in all an EXCELLENT job I can't wait to get more of our guild in there!!
